Birdhouse

26 Nov

I am sorry that my picture is crooked…I unfortunately had a few like this last time I took pics. UGH!

This is another Kim Hughes Collection by Cornish Heritage Farms card. CHF has some great stamps! The Kim Hughes Collection is growing and growing and I am way to excited! I love the stamps she is creating! Also Lisa Strahl (Mona Lisa) has created 16 new background stamps and she is sharing them on her Blog and will be released on Dec. 1. I am way to excited about this as well. They are wonderful, beautiful and creative background stamps. You have got to check out the stamps at CHF and the daily reveals from Lisa. You won’t be disappointed!

Recipe: Stamps Kim Hughes Collection CHF – Vases and Pretty birds. Ink: Staz-On Jet Black and reinkers from SU! and Ranger. Paper: DP by K&Co. Accessories: Choc ribbon by May Arts I believe this is either the 3/8 or 7/8. (I don’t remember which width I used.)

I used the “pocket” looking vase from the “Vases” stamps set and flipped it upside down and used the branch and the little hummingbird from the “Pretty Birds” set. It was very easy to out together.

Thanks for stopping by and have a blessed week. (Don’t forget to look at the previous post, it is show casing my 6 year old, Samuel’s Artness. Jeremy’s art to following in a few days.)

Samuel’s Artness

26 Nov

Here is a picture of Samuel’s Artness. He is my 6 year old. Both of my boys love to do Art, while I make cards, or draw. I always want to nurture their creativity. Samuel made these a few weeks ago. I think its adorable that he wants to be an artist and share his artness with people.
Thanks for stopping by and indulging me in sharing my youngest sons work. Jeremy is currently working on some drawings that he wants to share….but, they aren’t right yet. (Aren’t they adorable!)
Blessings and have a great day!

Taylor’s ATC Swap

23 Nov

I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving day full of blessings and love! Our Thanksgiving was wonderful. We were surrounded by lots of friends and family. At the end of our meal, we all gave thanks to God for one thing. The presence of God filled the house. It was a beautiful time!
I am so thankful to God for his ever lasting love, enduring mercy, and for His grace that is alway enough!
As my youngest son who is 6 years old says, “Look at my Artness“. On that note,
the Artness above was done for Taylor’s ATC Swap. I can’t wait to receive all the other ATC within the next week or two.
Recipe: Stamps: Elzybells NA from A Muse, Ink: Staz-On Jet Black, and copic markers. Paper: DP by Asparagus (huge paper pack from Hobby Lobby), and Choco Chip CS. Accessories: Oval Marvy punch, and puffy paint for the snow.
Have a wonderful weekend!!!

Happy Thanksgiving

From "Owl" house to yours

17 Nov

I am having way to much fun with the owls from the Kim Hughes Collection by Cornish Heritage Farms. I used the hat from Crab & Co. by Stampin Up! It works perfectly with the birds. I used puffy paint for the snow on the branches and highlighted them with diamond stickles. The sentiment is hand written. The little snowflakes are diamond stickles. Please see you previous post for deets on the different products I used.

The boys and I are off and running for the rest of the day!

Have a Beautemous weekend!
