Consider Yourself Hugged!

30 Jun

There is a sweet lady I know from church. Her name is Elizabeth. She is the sweetest most kindest person I know. Every time you see her she always has a big hug. They are for everyone. Her tag line is always “Consider Yourself Hugged.” I just love her so much. I did this doodle while thinking of her and again I will need to develop this character based on dear sweet Elizabeth and her tag line. For now this will have to do.

Thanks for stopping by and Have a wonderful week. I will be back soon with some new card creations. For now I wanted to share with my blogging friends my doodles.
Many Blessings!

Thinking of You!

29 Jun

This girl is another one of my favorite doodles. I am going to have to work with her and make here into a character. She reminds me of my Mom. **NOTE: My camera thinks her pink little cheek is red eye…I retook this picture under so many settings on my camera that I gave up! I will try and get a better photo at a later time.**

I colored the little flower with a Copic Spica Pink Pen. Love those sparkly Spica pens!

Thanks for stopping by and any comments on my art work would be a wonderful blessings…(good and constructive comments)

Many Blessings and have a wonderful Sunday.

SMILE and Samuel’s House

28 Jun

I made this little doodle for my best friend, Melodie. She loves color and I used as many bright colors as I could for this girl. Melodie is the sweetest person I know. I thank God daily for her friendship. This doodle just makes me SMILE and I hope it makes here SMILE too.

The images I am showing you today are in their raw format, I haven’t finished the projects they go with and when I finish those I will share with you.

My 6 year old, Samuel is adamant that we will live in a house soon. We currently reside in an apartment and to rent a house where we live is soooo expensive. But Samuel is full of faith that God will provide for us a house to rent, so him and his brother can have their own rooms and a dog. Well I do know that with God ALL things are possible. We have been praying for God to lead us to the right house for a short season now and God will lead us to the right house. But until then I doodled this little house for Samuel. He loved it and said I had to share it on my Bogger thing. He is so cute!!! (If I do say so myself.)

**NOTE: I am disappointed that my photo’s are such poor quality. I am going to retake them when there is better lighting.***
Many blessings and thanks for stopping by! You Rock!

I am back!

24 Jun

I made this card a while ago and haven’t uploaded to my blog yet. I found this adorable stamp by Heidi Swap at my LSBS and had to have it. This was my first time inking it up and I have so many ideas flying in my head…

Stamps: Chandiler – Heidi Swapp, Lined Paper Cornish Heritage Farms. Ink: Blue Bayou, Barley Banana, and Basic Black, SU!

St. Louis was a lot of fun and the conference was life changing. God met us in a very special way! I will never be the same.

I will posting later this week with some more cards. I have been very busy since I came home from St. Louis, so I am very sorry that it has taken me this long to post. =)

Many Blessings!

Proud Eagle

7 Jun

I am posting again! Two times in one day…Wonders never cease….The card above is for Saturday Challenge over at Cornish Heritage Farms, for The Kim Hughes Blitz. If you haven’t taken a look at the awesome cards that have been submitted than you have to take a gander. The galleries are full of Inspiration!!!!
I quickly doodled the flag background….and colored in with SU! re-inkers.

I made this card for Today Sketch Challenge.
I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend! I don’t think I am going to be able to make any more cards or upload this weekend….My precious boys ages 11 & 6 are begging to have my full attention. Now they normally do….but, I have been busy making teacher gifts and trying to get in on the fun at CHF so they are feeling left out. (they really aren’t left out…but they are kids.) They are also super excited that Monday is their last day of school! I remember the last day of school and the anticipation of summer…..to be a kid again. =)
Thanks for stopping by and many blessings!
Don’t forget to check out CHF this weekend!

Kim Hughes Blitz – Day 2

6 Jun

Kim Hughes has come up with an awesome sketch. This was my take on her sketch. Inside the mini folder on the front of the card there is a simple, quick cake recipe. Untie the ribbon for more room to write. =)

This was my second take on her sketch. I used Ranger Inks: Lettuce (My favorite color!) and Shell Pink.

This was my last card for this sketch. I just lovey the glittery top of the cupcake. =)
Head on over the Cornish Heritage Farms for lots of fun and prizes during the Kim Hughes Blitz.
Stamps: Baked with Love, Silhouette Blooms II, Grid Paper and Polka dot Back Grounders.
Inks: Ranger – Shell pink, lettuce, watermelon and SU! Barley Banana, Choco Chip, Cool Caribbean, and Creamy Carmel
Accessories: Pink and brown Ribbon from Ribbon & Bow Oh My!, Dark Choc chip ribbon from Lesley, and the sheer white polka dot ribbon from the local craft store. Baking Charm. Buttons from Making Memories and My Minds Eye.
Many Blessings to you and I hope you have a wonderful weekend!!
