Diana please send me your snail mail address I will get your stamps out to you this week. I hope you enjoy.
Thank you all for your “sweet” comments. (pardon the pun, couldn’t help myself. LOL!) All of your sweet treat favorites sound so yummy! LOL!
The above box I made to hold the cards in the previous post for my friend. I will post a small tutorial on it later this week. It was super easy….and I just whipped it up very quickly, took like 10 minutes and I made while I was getting ready to head out the door. Talk about last minute! I just lovey the Heather Bailey paper. Yummy!
I hope you all have a great day!
Many Blessings,

Hugs & Smiles and BLOG CANDY

I have found some of the most awesome paper IMHO. I am a fabric lover….love some of the new fresh and funky fabrics that you can purchase….but I am no longer a sewer (is that a word?) I use to sew, make cards, and do all kinds of other crafty things until a couple of years ago. I only do a little scarp booking and mostly make Cards with a few alterable here are there….but some of my favorite fabrics have been Heather Baileys and I feel in love with her style….Fresh and Funky. When I saw that she has some of her fabric patterns turned into scrap booking supplies….I was beyond happy! So I said all this to say that the fun, bright, colorful, fresh and funky paper on my card are from Heather Bailey’s scrap booking/fabric line. Way to cool IMO! I did purchase some of fabric and have the urge to break out my sewing machine…I am feeling a funky purse coming my way.

I made a set of these cards for a friend that will be taking a job outside of the state. We are meeting for coffee today and wanted to send her away with a little gift.

Now on to the good stuff….I am offering BLOG CANDY ! A set of Gina K’s “Sweetest Blessings“.

All you need to do is leave a comment and please tell me what your favorite sweet treat is. (Only one comment per person please.) I will post the winner on Tuesday, February 24, 2009. That’s it… easy peasy lemon squeezy.

Thanks for all of your support. Have a great day and Many Blessings!

Deets: Stamps: Sweetest Blessings by Gina K. Paper: Heather Bailey – Fresh Cuts, PTI CS. Ink: Black Noir, and Copics. Accessories: Circle Nesties.

You’re One of a Kind….

18 Feb

This image cracks me up. My bestest friend, Meldoie and I have a little inside joke about calling each other “cow” terms of endearment. Such as Heifer, Bovine, My Moooo friend….etc. It’s a lot of fun.
When I come across a cute cow image I normally try to snatch it up do I can make some cards to give to my dearest and most favorite moooo friend. =)
I have been playing around with my Copic markers that I purchased from Gina K. It’s a lot of fun trying out different color combos….I still am way more comfortable with my watercolors…than with the Copics. Water coloring an image also has it’s own special look, which I really like. Coloring with Copics has an entirely different refreshing look and there are so many things you can do….but in the mean time I am only learning and can’t do all the cool tricks with Copics yet. LOL!
Well have a super great rest of the day!
Many Blessings!

With God….

ALL things are possible. Matt. 19:26 I love this scripture set from Cornish Heritage Farms.
We have been super busy on this end and had a few Revival services at church. God moved in the miraculous and touch many hearts. It was awesome! This scripture on my card has come to life for me again this week. Families being restored, lives being changed. =)
I have been working on some fun things for you…. (some blog candy this week.)
….and I also heard that Gina K has something BIG to share with us on Friday. (I can’t wait to find out what it is….) I subscribe to Gina’s blog and every day there has been a hint….too fun! Check it out. (I seriously can’t wait to see what Friday brings!)
Not to talkative today…..I’ve gotta go and get my children ready for school and I need to get ready for work.
Have a super great day!
Many Blessings,

I just lovey this set……….from Anna Wight and Whipper Snapper. I used my copics to color….super easy and tooo fun! I kept the card pretty simple. I used more layers than I normally do…but I don’t think it’s over done.
Not to much to say today…I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!

I’m Still Here…

I just lovey this image drawn by the famous….Anna Wight. You can purchase her awesome stamps at Whipper Snapper.
This image is adorable. I love the chicken trying to balance on the dogs nose. I made this card for a friend of mine. I think she’ll love it.
I used my Copic markers. I purchased set A and C from Gina K. Gina has the best prices on Copic markers that I can find. I am new to Copics and am comfortable with my paint brush, water and reinkers. But I am learning how to use these nifty markers. They really are pretty cool. I am also using the 80lb Pure Luxury paper from Gina K too. Love the smooth texture. It really is luxurious for paper.
I am going to have to keep this short. Have a beautiful day!
Many Blessings,

I just lovey this set from Gina K and Melanie Muenchinger called a Year of Flowers. My mom loves flowers and roses are her favorite. So I made this card for her.
I wish there was smell-o-blog (like smell-o-vision). I used “Rose” Card Scents on the main rose image. It is also popped up on foam dots. I do have an Ooops…on my card. The bottom left hand corner of the rose image….the gems are drooping. Oooops!
I hope you have a wonderful night!
Many Blessings,
