Praying for You

14 Apr

Here is another card using the Damask Designs stamp set designed by the talented Dawn McVey from Paper Trey Ink.
We had a wonderful Easter. God is ever faithful and it was a wonderful time of celebrating His Resurrection.
My boys and I are going slowly through a book by John C. Maxwell called “The Choice is Yours”. It is an awesome book and my boys really respond to it. It challenges us to grow…. We are on chapter four and it’s called Self-discipline is a choice…(OUCH!) LOL…
I love the quotes in this book and want to share a few with you….
“It is not the mountains we conquer, but ourselves.” – Sir Edmund Hillary
“Some people regard discipline as a chore. For me, it is a kind of order that sets me free to fly”
-Julie Andrews
“If you do what you can, with what you have, where you are, then God won’t leave you where you are and He will increase what you have.” – Bill Purvis
This book is such an encouragement to my family.
Well I have to get going and have some quality time with the kiddo’s.
Many Blessings!
Mary

Damask Love

2 Apr

I just love the Damask Designs stamp set from Paper Trey Ink. I have been using it a lot lately.

They make quick, pretty, fun cards. I am also loving the colors of turquoise, new leaf, aqua mist and kraft. Yummy!

We have been crazy busy here and loving every minute. The boys are keeping me on my toes. Spring is trying to come in Wisconsin…..and the boys are itching to get outside and run some of their energy off…..(me too!).

Have a super splendiferous kind of day!!!

Many Blessings,

Mary
