Woodgrain – One Layer Card

29 Apr
This is the 4 card set that I made for my aunt.  I totally cased this card from The Kraft Room blog that was showcased on K. Werner’s Blog the other day for her card challenge.  I drew inspiration from this card.  I didn’t have the new PTI dies or stamps but I did have some nestie dies that I used.
This is what the entire card looks like.   So what do you think?
Supplies used:
Stamps:  SU! Woodgrain Bkgrd, PTI-New Leaf, Mega Mixed Messages, Signature Greetings.
Paper:  Kraft CS from Local SBS.
Ink:  Chalk Ink – Chestnut Roan, PTI – New Leaf and Vintage Cream.
Accessories:  Nesties dies, White Gel Pen.
Have a wonderful day!

28 Apr
Good Afternoon!  I can not believe that this post didn’t post this morning.  Silly Blogger.
Today is Blackleaf Studios Wednesday, where the DT gets together to inspire you to create with these adorable images.
Our challenge is to use chipboard.  I found a package of 5 teapot chipboard pieces at Michaels in the dollar bin.  How cool is that!  So this was .20 to make.  Sweetness!
I used some Dear Lizzy fabric paper, crochet flowers and DP.  The sentiment is from an Anna Wight set.
Make sure to check out BS Blog for uber inspriation and a chance to join in the fun and win some BS stuff!
Thanks for stopping by today and many blessings,
Mary

23 Apr
Isn’t this the cutest card evah!!!??!?!?  I think so.  I am having way to much fun with my Cricket Expression and SCAL software.  I was able to create this shoe card pattern from scratch! (Mary Janes – my all time favorite shoe!)  Now all I need to do is learn how to save it properly so I can share with you all.  If you have any tips on how I can share my creations with you, please drop me a comment.
I found this adorable 6×6 My Minds Eye paper stack at Michaels the other day.  Isn’t it pretty!  There are lots and lots of colorfuly patterns that have raised glossy accidents and glittery ones too.  The paper pack is called “My Mind’s Eye Home – Glitter Book”.  Just trust me, it’s pretty neat!  LOL!
Below I have shown you a two more creations using the same shoe template and paper from the same stack.

BLS Customer Blog Hop

22 Apr
Happy Earth Day everyone!  BLS is having their first ever Customer Blog Hop.
For my project I used all my Cosmo Cricket scraps to make this cupcake holder and tag.  Isn’t the cupcake holder awesome!  This is from thier Valentine Cupcake Wrappers, but as you can see it doesn’t have to be Valentine’s day for you to use them.  I choose the cupcake wrapper with all the little hearts and think it is sooo stinkn’ adorable!
What is awesome about using my Cricket Expression and SCAL software is that you can you scraps of your paper to cut on.  You don’t have to have a full sheet of paper to make projects.  I love that feature!
Please visit BLS Blog to visit the other inspriational blogs.
Thanks for stopping by today!
Many Blessings,
Mary

Blackleaf Studios Wednesday

21 Apr
I made this bottle gift tag using Blackleaf Studios Festive Wine Bottle Tags.  Now if you are like me and don’t drink, you are still able to use these adorable tags.  Attach the tags to a bottle of sparkling juice, like I did above.
I used my EK Success butterfly punch to add a little dimention to my tag, American Crafts crochet flower (one of my all time favorite embelies!)  The stamped sentiment is from an Anna Wight stamp set.
I love the bright blue and pink butterflies on the tag, it’s one of my all time favorite color combos!
This project was so easy to make.  Took me all of 10 mintues from printer to finished project.  I had a bottle of sparkling juice on hand and covered it with some tissue paper and tule.   I think tule added that little bit a bling with out being over the top.   Attached to the Festive Wine Bottle Tag that I quickly spruced up and Waaaaala!   The present is made.
Please visit Blackleaf Studios blog for more inspiration!
If you would like to win the entire Tea Party Stamp Set, make your own creation using a Black Leaf Studio product, don’t forget the they have some awesome freebies that you can use AND and then link your project on the Blackleaf Studios Blog by Monday Night.

Many Blessings to you and thanks for stopping by!

EDIT:   Here is the photo of the new stamps…So excited that Cosmo Cricket has stamps that coordinate with their paper lines.

Aren’t they cute!

I’ve placed my stamps on a Gina K stamp sheet.  Love this system with my red rubber cling stamps.

I can’t wait to start playing with this set.  Hopefully some time in the next week.   As soon as I create a card, I’ll share with you.

Blessings and have a wonderful Sunday.   We are getting ready for church and can’t wait to be there.  God is so good to us!  He is ever faithful!  Every time we gather together in his name, to worship him, God manifests himself in a great and mighty way and touches lives, that are chaged forever.
