Well done

14 Oct

We found an old unused atlas the other day and I knew it would be perfect for making cards.  LOL!  I tend to be directionally challenged.  Seriously!  I am the type that goes by landmarks and street names.  But please don’t tell me to go east or west….when you do you just get a blank empty stare. LOL!

Well I made this card for Samuel, he loves planes and I had to use the atlas paper.  =)   I used the solid plane from Papertrey Ink and then I added a little bit of Copics to make the plane a little more vibrant.  Love how it looks.  I distressed the edges of the map with vintage photo….love how it turned out.  I used a strip of Basic Grey – Basic Kraft at the bottom along with some Chocolate Twine from my Etsy shop and some vintage buttons to add a little interest to the bottom of the card.  I used the tiny attacher on the twine and love how it turned out.

Thanks for stopping by today and don’t forget about the challenge list below.

Blessings,

Mary

This is so creative and fun! Love the string and button embellishments! The strip of map at the bottom of the page is a great finishing touch.
