Sugar Creek Hollow Saturday

13 Nov

Good morning!  It’s time for another Sugar Creek Hollow card.

This week our challenge is to make a Shabby Chic card by using the colors below.

So I used a light blue and pink from October Afternoon Very Merry Collection.  Some Kraft card stock for the base and and the beautiful sentiment is matted with  Dark Chocolate brown CS from PTI.

Sugar Creek Hollow has a ton of beautiful sentiments for several different occasions.  So I let my sentiment take center stage on this card.

I used my purple Marvey snowflake punch…distressed the snowflake and added some german glass glitter.  In real life it is uber sparkly.   The two smaller snowflakes are a Martha Stewart punch.

The papers are from October Afternoon and the sparkly polka dot cream paper is from Tracy (the owner of Sugar Creek Hollow) and it’s so pretty.

Join in the fun…..come on over to the Sugar Creek Hollow Blog to enter.

Make sure you check out what the Design Team has created!  You are sure to find tons of inspiration.

Thanks for stopping by today!

    Hi Mary,
I love the layers, the texture and the perfectly applied glitter! I am especially taken with the “newsprint” snowflake, what a clever and beautiful embellishment, it gives it such a vintage feel!!
