Giftie goodness

31 Aug

I created this gift set for my cousin for her Birthday that was a couple of weeks ago.   I used Cosmo Crickets: Material Girl Collection of papers.  It was super easy to put together.

It has a home spun eclectic look.  My cousin loved her gift and that’s all that matters.

On the home front we have been busy trying to get use to the new fall schedule.  The boys begin school on Wednesday. They are so excited!

I will be back later this week.

Thanks for stopping by and many blessings!

Fabulous Friday

27 Aug

Here’s today card.  I used papers from Webster’s Page, a retired Cornish Heritage Farms stamp set called Domestic Love.  I colored the image with Copic Markers and added a few new embellies to the card.  Like the mini kraft tickets and clothes pins.  Too fun!

Hope you enjoyed.  Talk with you soon.

Happy Thursday…..

26 Aug

Sorry that I’ve been MIA.  My classes started this week and it’s wonderful.  But I need time to adjust to my new schedule. =)  Thank you for your patience.

I created this card using a FREEBIE from Sugar Creek Hollow.   Yummy!

I used some uber yummy Glimmer mist, Turquoise Blue…it’s my all time favorite color at the moment.  I used a Copic marker to go around the edge of the image.  It’s only slightly darker than the glimmer mist.

Well I need to go and record the video for tomorrow.  (LOL!)  If you have any suggestions as what you’d like to see, please share with me. =)

Have a great evening!

Many Blessings,

Mary

Doodle Pantry

21 Aug

This is a part of the new release that came out yesterday from the Doodle Pantry.  Yippie!  There are sooo many adorable and beautiful images that are in this release. You won’t be disappointed.

I have more projects to share with this release and will share those with you in the coming days.

My approach to this card was uber simple.  I am going to use these as thank you cards for someone who has been helping with all of my computer issues.  I am so thankful.  So I wanted the card to be simple and masculine.  I hope it’s not tooo simple. (LOL!)

Thanks for stopping by today!

Blessings,

Mary

Fabulous Friday

20 Aug

Thanks for your patience.  It’s been a crazy busy week.    School begins in a week for me and in two weeks for my boys.

I am working on some Doodle Pantry images…so I’ll be posting a card tomorrow using the newly released Doodle Pantry images.  Check our Laurie’s blog and The Doodle Pantry store.

Today’s video:

I used Sugar Creek Hollow images for today.  I printed the image on velum paper.

You can use a lot of different paper materials to print digital images, as long as your printer can run the paper through without a problem.  I have a much, much, much older printer and I can only print on 80lb paper or lighter, so at times I’m limited.  But the newer printers don’t have problems with printing 110lb papers, heavily textured papers etc.

Also if you have a laser printer, you can run your watercolor paper through the printer and then watercolor your image without out any worries of your printed image running.

I take my 110lb paper and watercolor paper to my local fed ex – printing store and pay $ .09 a sheet to have it run through the laser copy machine or printer.   For me the cost is minimal and I print 10 – 20 sheet for only a couple bucks.   That’s cheaper than purchasing a new printer.  (LOL!)

Well I hope you enjoyed this weeks video.   Look for the Doodle Pantry cards this weekend.

Blessings!

18 Aug
I made this gift for our nieces Bday.  It’s late….I know, I know, I’m a mean auntie…but we didn’t mean for it to be late. LOL!
Front:
I used a notebook that I covered with some De Lovely paper from Cosmo Cricket.  I used some of my ribbon (Moe’s ribbon), a doily that I sprayed with some ubery yummy Turquoise Blue glimmer mist.  I also used some of the little Cosmo Cricket stickers….they are sooo cute!
Inside:
I made a little library card pocket and a tag.  Added more ribbon and some stickles to the circle that is on the tag.
Back:
I added the three papers on the back to finish off the book.
Easy peasy lemon squeezy.
Have a super Splenderific day!
