RAK – Kudos…

30 Jun

I am a little behind on posting this picture. I mention in this blog post (down towards the way bottom of the post.) that I was going to be posing a picture soon and well “soon” is really left open for any type of “time” interpretation like 2 weeks later…right?????…..correct!??!?!? LOL!
Well this is a Thank you to BASEMENT STAMPER for blessing me with this adorable stamped art image. The frame is so going up in my little art corner… I love it! And the little card is totally adorable to. So going to case it I get an extra moment.
Thanks again!
Hope you are having a super fantastic week….
Many blessings to you,
Mary

Clear Dollar Stamps Guest Designer Challenge

27 Jun

This is the card I made for the Clear Dollar Stamps Guest Designer Challenge. Click HERE to go to their site for the CDS Guest Designer Challege. Now I wish I had some CLS stamp sets…but I do not …and I have a huge wish list… I used the Basic Grey stamp set and paper – Porcelain Collection.

The CDS sketch is totally cool. I decided to use a square shape instead of the circle and for the middle square that is larger, it really is a glassine bag that I turned into a glassine envelope and you see the mini card that goes into the envie.
Thanks for looking and have a great weekend!
Many Blessings!!!
Mary

Deets: Stamps: Basic Grey Porcelain Collection. Ink: Hybrid PTI – New Leaf and Drk Choco. Paper: Basic Grey Porcelain Collection, Drk Choco and Kraft CS. Accessories: Green May Arts Silk Ribbon, Treading Water Punch and Glassine bag.

Baby Bottie Box Tutorial….

26 Jun

Hello!!! I am so excited…to share this box tutorial with you…..I made this box for the crochet booties that my mom and I are making. The picture above is the finished project. Please only use this template for personal use only. If you use this project please give a shout out to where you found it….Many Thanks and Enjoy! (I’d love to see what you do with this template too….)

The measurements for the box:
Top: 5.75″ x 6.25″ and score at 3/4″ all the way around. (A tip…I also like doing a scalloped edge using any edger punch you like, before putting the top together and it looks uber cool. I forgot to do that on this box.)
Bottom: 8″ x 8.5″ and score at 2″ all the way around.

I included this picture above so you can see how I clip the box ends, it make it much easier to put the box together.

This is what the top and bottom of the box looks like when you are finished putting it together.

I use patterned paper to decorate my boxes….and her are the measurement if you’d like to decorate the box like mine.
Sides: Qty 2 – 1.5″ wide x 4″ long, Qty 2 – 1.5″ wide x 3.5″ long
Top of box: 3.75″ x 4.25″

Here is my box all put together and decorated. I used the new yummy October Afternoon – Cherry Hill paper and the fun Scattered Showers stamp set from Paper Trey Ink.
I am showing you the use for this box…see the adorable crocheted mock croc’s that my mom made.
Thank you for stopping by and I hope you enjoy this template….
Many Blessings!

Gift Trio

One of my friends had a baby girl and I made the onesie and birdy rattle for her. My mom made the mock crock booties….(aren’t the adorable!!???!!!)

I am hopefully going to be able to ship the package out tomorrow to her. I am leaving her nameless just in case she may read this post. (LOL!)

I also made an adorable shoe box for the booties above. I will adding a tutorial today or tomorrow with the measurements. It’s a cute box that can be used for many other things than a shoe box.

I also made this cute card to go with her package.

I use a stamp set from the Kim Hughes Collection at CHF called baby love. I also used some of the new yummy October Afternoon – Cherry Hill paper.

Last Field Trip of the Year

13 Jun

These are some pictures of Samuel’s last field trip as a 2nd grader. He had so much fun and it was very interesting. We took a step back into time to 1917. It was pretty cool learning how school was ran back then. We went to the Ye Old School. (I couldn’t find any other information than what is provided at this link. sorry…)
All I can say is…it was a lot of fun and day Samuel and I can remember for many, many years.
I hope you have a super fantastic weekend, I have some projects to share with you later this weekend.
Many Blessings,
Mary
