12 Days of Christmas – Day 6

Good morning!

Today is day day 6…we re half way through our videos!  I hope they have inspired.

This gift idea is for one of those times when you are running out the door and you have 10 minutes to create a gift.  I used a small tin I had on hand that I got from Michaels quite a few months ago.  Some non-traditional Christmas papers that are from Basic Grey’s Nook and Pantry.  I love using papers from different paper packs that they weren’t created for.

12 Days of Christmas – Day 5

EDIT: Woops…I posted this a little early, this wasn’t suppose to have been posted until tomorrow morning. LOL!  Well enjoy a day early.

Good Morning!

Today is Day 5 and we are making a quick tag picture book that would be perfect to give to the grandparents and aunts and uncles for Christmas gifts.

I used the Jolly by Golly papers that I had left over from my stash.  Some Large Shipping Tags from my Etsy shop.  Lot’s of buttons and other embellishments from my stash as well.

It went together fairly quickly.  It would have gone even quicker if I had a tentative plan or sketch.

Sugar Creek Hollow Saturday (a little early)

I am posting a little early…..so the DT’s cards won’t be up until tomorrow.

It’s time for another Sugar Creek Hollow Saturday.   Today our challenge is to create something using the Faux Barn Board Technique from SCS.  But I did not have some of the items on the list.  So I substituted with stuff I had on hand and created my own version of the Faux Barn Board.

I used the fun snowman image from SCH and hand cut a tree from Cosmos Crickets Jolly by Golly paper. (Last years Christmas line.)  I love how it turned out.  I added a button from PTI (New Leaf) and used an older SU! stamp set for my sentiment.

The design team has created some uber fabulous creations for you to draw some inspiration from.

Good Morning!

For today I have created a card that holds your favorite hot drink or chocolates.  I hope that you are inspired!  There is a two part video today. =)

I used an image from Stampavie that Mo Manning drew called Siku and Shiya. There are many stores on-line that carry this clear stamp.  Mo Manning is now at Stampingbella! (Ok has been or a while now…) I have a long wish list. LOL!

NOTE:  There will be no videos tomorrow, Thursday, Nov. 25, due to it being Thanksgiving!  I wish you all a very Happy Thanksgiving!  I am so blessed and thankful to God for all that he has given me.  We serve a great and mighty God!

Good morning!  Welcome to the 12 days of Christmas gift giving goodness.
Over the next 12 days I will be posting a video each day.   Whoo Hoo!

The purpose of this series is to inspire you to create thoughtful gifts for your friends and loved ones this holiday season by using what we already have in our stash.  My friend in St. Louis calls it “Shopping” your stash.

I don’t know about you, but I have a ton of papers, embellishments and tools that go unused, because I have so much!  (LOL!)  I know that there are a few of you that are in the same boat as me. (LOL!)
This year our family is having a “Handmade” Christmas and that is what inspired this series.

I am featuring some items from my Etsy shop.  But like I say in the video….that this is not the focus of these videos.  Of coarse I’d love my customers…(LOL!)  But the series is to inspire you to use what you already have.

With all of that said…here is the first video:

Good Morning!  Today is another day for Sugar Creek Hollow blog hop.

This is a brand new image from Sugar Creek Hollow and it’s totally amazing!  The artist is uber talented!
The scroll is super beautiful as well.

I used an old Hymnal book as the background paper, a doily that I distressed.  A few buttons along with some uber yummy country crinkle ribbon.  The country crinkle ribbon is from Sugar Creek Hollow.
